well it seems like the demand has picked up so I guess I should supply. Here's the scoop the reason why I haven't been making any stuff is due to an overworked schedule. My main project has been a 62 nova convertible, which will be done in a week and going up for sale, leaving me lots of time to fab some new parts.

If you guys do have money in hand right now, I still have material to build 10 complete sets of bars. If you guys want some boost I'm more then willing to help you out reach your goals whatever they might be. :thumbup:

ok just to clarify

the front strut bars will work with all EFI cars. The vacum thingie attached to the throttle on 86-87 EFI will be in the way, but don't worry it is useless, cut it off.

I can make more carb front bars but only if it is a must cause I have to borow a friends car. Plus they WILL NOT FIT STOCK AIR BOXS, either Weber or civic air box.

rear strut bar will fit all cars.

Tie bars will fit all models except with auto tranny and most exhausts ( it clears my 3" downpipe). If I can borrow a car with an auto I could make a couple, maybe.

well... i sold mkymonkey my rear one, i traced it before i shipped it, the bar is 27" long
and the parts that bolt to the strut you can play by ear, i'm going to make one for my car, as soon as i can find some of that bar they use. or maybe 3/8" steel bar we'll see.

i haven't held the bar up to the engine bay, but I can tell you I am worried about my hood even closing WITHOUT the bar... hehe but from what I can tell with my aftermarket manifold with shorter runners, it would be directly over the plenum. we should definitely get together some time to try and fab up an X brace of some sort. the bar feels real good on the front end.

btw its tough to change axles with your front lower bar, we couldnt get in between the inside end of the axle and the tranny to pry the shaft out. lol just made it a bit akward. i guess thats the price you pay for custom suspension tie bars! lol

yeah i dont like adding color to the engine bay just for the sake of color though. i'd rather try to make it look like it's OEM as opposed AEM. i think the black rubber texture will look nice and hopefully be more durable than paint when it comes to scratching and chipping. cheeseburger's tower bar is black and it looks good.. i thought it looked textured but it could have just been unsanded flat black.. actually looking at this pic (http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y61/busted_blue/DC%20Sports/IMG_5567Small.jpg) it does look flat black.. oh well.. i might still try it as long as it will hold up to the temperature

Chase I'm trying to figure out your stuff. They gave me the wrong tracking number so I'm talking to them today to get the right one.

As of now I have no more bars made and in the process of making 10 more sets. This will prob be the last sets I make for some time. I also made some changes to make the bars stronger and changed the front bar design. Most of the bars will have similar mounting like in the pic, this reduces welds and weak spots.

Hum, the pics should have been bigger, but that all the pics I have. The rest of the bars are all the same design except how they mount. The over all function of the bars are the same, but now they are a little lighter and overall strength is improved, since there is allmost no welds that can break.
