well he's going to repaint them and yeah they're 16's.....but the tires on them are huge!!! i should have taken a pic of how wide they are...cuz it didnt look like 205 or 215 lol

lol yep those are my old rims.. or justins old rims too lol.. I just had those tires laying around so i put them on just to see how they would fit lol...

Ya guys these are my cars new rims , I hope she likes 'em. The tires on them ARE huge but hopefully in a coulpe days I can get some smaller ones. I'm going to have them painted eventually,but it can wait be cause when I got the rims home, I used this badass polish that I got from the fair and it took 90% of the scratches,scuffs and small knicks out.

Are thosw Michelins? The lettering on the side looks like it is.. They tread is hard to see.

Wheels look nice and simple. The tires fill up that wheel well nicely.

sweet ass rims... yeah some smaller tires should work fine...yeah Adamn has like a race track on his backyard since thoes streets are super long and empty i pushed the mini van to 100mph...lol...so yeah Matt i was going to get a TB from adam but i forgot...i still need a buterfly

i can get you a nice set on wheel..i knoe this guy who gets them at deler prices i got all my tires for 184 cash. and they go for 300+ a set at a tire store. i think 205/50/16 should be good.

I don't mean to be picky but the 215 or 205 is the height not the width. A low profile tire will sometimes add the numbers 50 60 70 which is the aspect ratio. this means a tires sidewall is 50% 60% 70% as wide as it is tall. the smaller the percentage the lower the profile. like a 195/60/r15 that is a 195mm tall sidewall which is 60% as tall as it is wide on a 15" rim. Just to clarify.
Hey bro, I dont mean to be picky either, but are you sure about that?
The 215 or 205 or whatever is the width of the tire at the widest point of the sidewall in millimeters - the next number 70, 65, 60 etc means that the sidewall is whatever percent of the overall tire width.

i tried some 215/50/17's and they ended up hitting my suspension. i ended up going with 205/40/17's, no clearance problems at all. ~$190 for 2 tires mounted and ballanced.

I looked over another site also and guess I was wrong sorry. Thanks for correcting me Jake. I actually was told that working at Sam's Club as a tire tech and never researched it just took it as fact. Don't go there if you need tires I guess lol.

I just bought a set of 17s on ebay with 215/45R17 tires - got them for only $200 and I am worried they will rub and not fit. However I found out (after putting them of the wife's 6g (cause it's perfect size) that the tires are trashed so it's time to get some 205/40R17s.
Those are huge! I don't think there is any way to run those without messing up your car.

The offset on those rims looks crazy... Hopefully you dont have any clearance problems... And 205/45/16 is what i have on my car, matt, and you've seen how they look.

Also, you could always order tires off the net.. Alot of places have free shipping.
