Whats up. So i installed the illuminas and sprints and now it feels like I'm riding with no shocks after a while, and I look and I believe its because of this. When I push down on the car, the shaft just goes up and down.
-And I believe it is supposed to stay stationary, correct?
-So anybody know what happened? Maybe a washer or something popped off or slipped?
And tightning down on the nut won't do anything..the whole thing will still move up and down.

I know on the KYB's that I installed, there is a spacer that goes on the shaft.
the spacer is beveled on the inside and only goes down so far and the flat washer goes on after that.
If the spacer is not used or installed upside down on the strut shaft it will do what yours is doing.
Hope this helps I'll try to find a picture of the spacer

the washer keeps the strut for going through the damper bushings

bolt

The factory struts have the spacer already built in I circled where it sits..

hahah jigga i remember when my shit did that! worked for like a week before it poked through.
i had just forgotten to use the washer against the stopper. :) the bushing slipped off, and the rest is history.
its an easy fix though... i remember how freaked out i was when i saw the problem though!
