Yup thats my carb

Throttle stop screw in my book sets the base idle speed.

Only adjust it after the car is fully war and the choke it off (open fully)

Basicly I was converting over to weber jets for the mains and air correction. (jets would have to be soldered on)
I was hoping idle would be okay on it's own... and that the emulsion tube would also be okay. No power valve (#2) but I was considering making a top hat with the powervalve plunger still there. I also Plugged the bleed for the accelerator pump (#1)

The rest of the pics show some venturi work, polished barrels, a cut made into the accel pump jet to make it easier to flow into the barrel, and of course the weber jet test fit above the emulsion tube.

Oh and it was full mechanical secondary.

My main concern was that the venturi vacuum would create a low pressure zone above the air correction jets and make me run richer. I mean it will get richer and richer as I get closer to WOT. However the lower pressure in the float bowl would make the float level rise a little, so that might offset itself by pushing down on the fuel less making it more difficult for the fuel to get out so you get the leaning effect.

So that is how I figure having it set up to venturi vaccum and doing things this way will help vent fumes and still maintain a good fuel mix. Plus all that fuel vapor is easier to burn.
