Has anyone tried hooking up an O2 tank into their intake? Just an idea........ Kinda like NOS(?)

If i can find an Oxygen tank ill try it..... Do you know where i can find one?

No, it would be incredibly inefficient.

Actually, it would be incredibly unsafe...the Germans and Russians tried using liquid O2 to us diesel engines underwater...ended up starting huge fires and shit.

Dunno if it would work in the regular atmosphere...

Thats what nitrous is, only safer. O2 is an oxidizer and when its realativly pure things tend to burn or blow up in its presence. Nitrous breakes down into O2 and other stuff when its heated up, I forget how much but its just about combustion temprature in a gas motor. So when you inject nitrous its nice and safe N2O when its in your trunk and on its way into the engine. Then when its in the combustion chamber and ready to get down to buisness its changed into O2 so it can do its thing.

o2 frees it self from nitrogen when cobined as NO2 at 425f
