ok well i have searched around and havent found the size of the spacers needed to mount the teg lip.i know that nylon spacers would work perfect but did not know how long they should be.Also are there any good mount points to help it form well to the bumper? certain amount of bolts? i dont want to line it with bolts but dont want it to be 2 lose. im probably going to head over to the hardware store to pick all this up and some black paint to recoat the teggy lip later today, thanks for your help in advance

I used 1/2" nylon spacers. i would recomend to use 10 bolts. holds it in place really good and plus youc an put one in between each of the original mounting holes. i think oem was 12 or so

Here is a closeup of how I spaced it using just nuts, bolts, and washers:

allright, thanks alot, yeah i had looked at that thread before but i never could find the lenght of the spacer in there. but yeah thanks alot. i kinda would think that there would be a how to on the lenghts of bolts and the best mounting positions but i guess its one of those more simple projects that you just jump into

i was comparing picopop's lip to monkey's at the meet and i thought the 1 in spacer looked a little better.. but it's a matter of taste methinks :)

lol sorry mang :D :violin:

with the 1" it looked like it extended the bumper but the 1/2" looked like it covered up the lower portion of the bumper. i thought it looked better lower to the ground..

I have the 87 one... I was thinking that was rather odd you'd have to use spacers, but it's a differnent one than mine
