I took the car into honda for a suspension check due to horrible creaking and banging noises and major tire movement on the pass side
anyways they said my pass lower bj was gonna fall out, which i assumed already, but that my drivers side bj that i replaced 3 months ago was also going
now my question is this: am i supposed to be putting retaining clips on these new ball joints somehow, even though they have no lip for it?

^^they angle inward towards the bolt, so a retaining clip i assumed would be useless
cause i cant imagine how a lower balljoint could be toast after 3 months in the summer especially when the boot isnt torn unless its just loose somehow
id like to note that the noise was actually my pass side radius rod where the end nut came off along with all the bushings AND SMARTYPANTS HONDA didnt even check the damn thing
