no power (electrical_ problem)

ok, i just put a new wire harness in the car because my old one was shot. while i was getting ready to put the harness in i put my battery charger on the battery. when i put it on i went into the car and smelled a burning smell. now today i put the harness back in and it wont start. when i had the charger on the lights ( side markers and sometimes the head lights would flash on or stay on). what im wondering if i fried the computer. could i of done this????? please help spanky...


ps. when i smelled the burning smell i took the charger off. but i dont know...

uh oh, Sounds like you got a short somewhere. You must have a hot wire making contact somwhere.
