you wont get the same HID look like the new acura's, infinity or the lexus. their HID uses a couple of 1000 Volts but yours is just 12V. as u know, its just a hyper blue or super blue or whatever light it is called. Its gonna be a higher wattage than normal lights and its gonna give u a bright blue/white light. Personally i think that it looks cheesy for our cars if they are of normal wattage (50W). i got the HO (high output) just the normal yellow light blubs but they were 55W normal lighting. i was also browing a website where they had blubs that go upto 65W on low beam. Do look around before u buy em, or look at how the lights are on ppl who did the conversion. good luck

thats not cheap, especially since they dont have bulbs with them. but whoever said the bulbs cost more than the headlights, i dont think so i got some bright ass bulbs for $20 at local speed shop.

You can always try Midnite Moose.
For 40 bucks you get H4 Xenon bulbs and the beam (non-sealed).
Look really sweet. If I can get a hold of a digital camera some
day I can post a pic of mine :)

I got the Apc h4 conversion from Advance Auto for $25.00 a piece, and some Farenheit Super white xenon (90w)bulbs for $20.00 a pair. I love them they r very attractive and easy to install. Did the whole thing in like 10 min. There is a big difference driving too. Less strain to see signs and markers:super:

dang, the midnight mouse site is fraggin cheap:eek: . the driving lights are just 15 bucks. the cheapest ones i have seen so far were 20 bucks in walmart (the blazer ones) but the good thing is it comes with a relay so u wont burn up your switch in high rpms. Thanks man, that website is really something everyone could look into.

Electrical problems suck hard ...lol, so I dont' want one of those...:p But I also watned to know how hard it was to aim those bad boys, I mean what did you guys line it up against a wall or some shit?? lemme know about that and thanks again....:smokin:

12 volt bulbs, i alligned mine by parking about 5' from a wall in the dark and adjust the screw at the bottom of the light1

I bought a pair of Silvania Cool Blue sealed beam headlights over at Autozone not too long after I bought my 89 last year. They cost me just $14 a piece, but they look great. A cheap, much better improvement over the crappy yellow sealed beams that come with our cars. If you're not looking at spending over $50 bucks total, just get those, they're great!

every blub comes with the distance and height for the aiming pattern and the seperation distance. If u have a driving light/foglights, just go an inch up or two more than what the instruction booklet says. If ur worried about frying the system, get an inline fuse along with the existing one but i am pretty sure there wont be any probs and the 15 amp fuses we have are just right for the job. Aux lights as u know have seperate fuses so u wont have anything to worry about.
