thanks to 3geez.com this car has come a long way (for me it did) my fav mods are the custom door dings and seat rippage. it's been a good time but it's time to go to school and save up for a suzuki gs500.

i think i'd rather start out with a 40 hp bike man. i would do ninja 250 but they look fugly. sv is a little too powerful imo for a beginner.

I do agree though with your decision. A GS500 is a prime starter bike, and a moderately priced one at that. The body style is still suck in the ninties however. I'd just think that you'd want to upgrade in no time w/ that bike. Overall though, I do believe it's a good starter bike.
