well i've been searching a bit but i can't really find any info on an b18a1 swap from a da integra. i see a couple people with the lsvtec swap but no non vtec ls swaps. i have a friend that can make custom mounts. will a non vtec motor make the swap easier? i'm pretty clueless about 3g's. i have the motor and will want to swap it in once i put some goodies on it. i also have a 95 b18c1 motor sitting that was suppose to be a spare incase i blew my b16 in my civic. honestly can someone help, if your gonna reply "use the search button" just don't post. i have been searching btw. thanks.

just for the record, Any B series engine (beside JDM B20A from Accord) would need custom engine mounts. You would also need shifter linkages and so on.
I my opinion, non-Vtec is not worth the swap unless you have the engine for FREE and going turbo after the swap.

Also you gotta remember one thing, you got a carbed accord. You would have to do fuel injection first before you can swap any of the b series you have right now.

i should have been more specific when i posted lol. basically i'm asking if it's easier to swap a non vtec insead of a vtec motor. my friend is experienced with swaps but he's busy and doesn't have much time to help me so i'm thinking about doing this swap with my dad. i have everything for the swap(i think?), even the cutom mounts are being made right now and i have 2 spare motors right now, ls and gsr. BUT i'm just wondering how hard little things are. from what i saw on other swaps i have to get a new harness or make one or something? but i dunno wtf those harnesses are for. so if someone can LIST the parts i need that i cannot get from the old motor or the new one that would be great. thanks.

well, you'll need to do a carb-efi conversion right off the bat. that includes new fuel feed and return lines to/from the tank, new fuel pump, maybe new tank, etc. the write-up is somewhere around here. after that, everything shouldn't be that bad. but with a vtec engine, make sure you get a vtec ecu or else the point will basically be lost.

yeah i have that efi conversion ready to be installed, i'm just lazy cause i've had it for like a year and a half, just don't have to time(2 jobs) and now i'm wondering if i need ALL those parts since the motors coming out anyway.

also, where can i look at placeracing swap kits? cause they're website won't work for me? cause i might just get that instead. the custom mounts i'm getting are dirt cheap for me so i dunno how good they'll be...
