i installed one yesterday and i've been running into a little bit of trouble. the car runs fine for about 15-20 minutes then starts to heat up. the fan is wired and runs. runs all the time as a matter of fact. but for some reason it seems to heat up at the end of my drive.
things i've checked:
1. there are no leaks.
2. there is coolant in the system... up to top rad cap and also to max line on resevoir. also comes out of the bleeder bolt if i squeeze upper hose when bolt is loose.
3. thermostat opens -- can hear it open and can also feel it open.
newaccorddriver thinks that it has to be the size of the rad. being that it's a single core not a double.
my dad thinks that it could be a leak in the head gasket or possibly faulty thermostat reading? not sure of the reading but i know the thermo opens... and head gasket would burn the coolant wouldn't it?
so please please please help me since i seem to kill every thread that i post in.
