sup guys, i saw a fellow 3geez on the streets on mowry ave around 9:30pm. I was at the stoplight and in my sideview mirror i saw the 3geez rolled up next to me. After he stopped, i was checking out his ride. In the back of my mind, i remember seeing this car before on the board, sure enough when i got home, it was project lx-i ride. Very clean car in person. I was the guy in the 02 black trans am that was right next to u at the stop light. very clean ride

mowry... in freemont? if theres some more 3geez local to the south bay we should get together for a photoshoot :D

yep mowry in fremont. I have notices alot more 3geez out on the streets lately. And no we didn't race.

Hey yeah, I saw you leaving work last nite, man your car smells like gasoline... I remember thinking "damn american cars" lol. Nah we didnt race, a transam? come on... maybe if it were parked :D Thanks for the comment! You own a 3rd gen too?

Yeah, I live in the santa cruz mnts, in a little place called Bonny Doon... Youve probbly never heard of it unless your into local wines since thats the only buisness for 15min from my house - Bonny Doon Winery. I work all the way over in Fremont off of Mowy and a Civic Center - its one HELL of a commute.

Oh, and we have a pretty popular beach too, its off of Hwy1

my car smells like gas cuz i have no cats so all the unburnt gas expells out the exaust. Was the gas smell too extreme? I used to own a 88 lxi. After i saw ur, it reminded me on my old ride. I had taken a great pic of my 88lxi on my friends digi, but my friend lost the damn picture. oh well, i'm in search of looking of a 87-89 lxi as a beater car, but it's gonna wait till november though. very clean car project lx-i. I have a pic of my old 88 lx-i but its a very distant pic of the car. My old 3geez had sportline springs, 2 1/4 catback exaust with kudo exaust w/ silencer (sounds very deep without the silencer) and 16in chrome alba frontiers. http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f95/caliboyta/scan0005.jpg . yeah that pic was pretty small!

My friend has an 02 Camaro SS which is basicly the same car as yours. for a time he had removed his cats and there was no gas smell like that. (Or if there was it wasnt that noticable) I dunno, it might be something to check into.

Well my car is an obd-2 emission system so i have o2 sensors in front of the cats and in rear of the cat's, since i installed the off-road pipe, the pipe has o2 bungs for the front o2 sensors, but not the rears, so right now im running without the rear o2 which is tripping my ses light. the ses light is causing the computer to think my car is running too lean, so its dumping more fuel into the engine. In order to solve this problem i need to get some o2 simulators, or get them tuned out from the computer. my friend is giving me his o2 sims for free in a week, while i install my underdrive pulleys. we just have to wait n see if the o2 sims will solve the problem. Your friend with the ss could've put on the o2 sims, get them tuned out, or had his car dyno tune so his a/f ratio could be spot on.

i dunno if ur laughing cuz the rims looks ugly or of its stupid name. I admit the same is goofy. When i bought these rims, they were called alba's frontiers and those rims looks clean on a 3geez. i wish i had a pic of it.

sorry i was not laughing at you i was laughing at the rims names. they would look alright on a 3gee just not mine...
