I have an 89 LXi and did a 5-speed swap. I am sick and tired of my gauges having the auto shift light in it. My car has the denso gauges and I have been to ALL of the junk yards around here looking for a set of denso manual transmission gauges and haven't found anything. I am wondering if I can just swap in the fuel and temp gauge. Has anybody tried this? I tried once to swap in a different tach but they wiring was way different. Someone HELP

yeah you can just swap that cover piece, but its glued on. and you could snap the pins that hold the needles in while your pulling them out. you dont have to put in denso gauges, you can put in the nippon seiki gauges if you want.

or u can buy the revers glow gauge for pcp and just take the bulb ou tof the selector

you can use any 5 speed 3geez gauges. they all interchangible.
i wouldn't recomend swapping fuel/temp gauge. they are very delicate. when i did on mine, i broke it.
just get regular 5 speed gauges, remove the speedo gauge out of your old one and put it into new one. simple.

Well, how much shipped to 74059 would you take for the 5sp gauges?

Or even better, where can I get the glow gauges. They were on EBAY for a while but now that I'm not broke I can't seem to find any. I am just TIRED of seeing that my par is in park.

dont forget to get aw bezel or re paint yours cause they look kind of fugly with out it
