There is a big bolt that holds one fuel line and then there is a bolt with a Banjo attached. The bango bolt won't turn! And it feels like I'm just stripping the bolt.
Is there something special I need to do with the banjo?
When I did mine the filter was spinning in the bracket I used one wrench on the filter to hold it in place and a socket to remove the banjo.
wish i could tell you more to help you out.
Make sure you dont bend or kink the lines coming from the firewall:D

Did you use a big bracket to take off the banjo with the lil bot on top? The lil bolt is what's givin me the problem.

I think thats the bolt to release the pressure.
what I did was I disconnected the lines from the firewall and removed the filter with the hose still attached then I stuck the filter in a vice for better leverage

get some of this stuff here - it may make the difference between getting it loose or not:

Before I try to take anything loose on these old cars I soak it with this stuff. It makes getting nuts and bolts loose much easier - esspecially on stuff like suspension and exhaust.

No I said screw it and put everything back together. I was working on that one bolt for4 to 5 hours! I'm gonna take it to the shop and make them do it. I hate takinging it to the shop cause it's gonna cost me an extra 30 just to do what should have takein a couple minutes.
Edit - I used liquid wrench for one of those 5 hours and still no dice.

If u really soaked it, it should have worked but sometimes in stubborn situations, u need to let the stuff soak overnight. But then again, you've already put everything back together to bring it to the shop so...
