stock HP is 125 at flywheel, 125ftlbs torque
dynoed before exhaust at 104.2 HP and 109.2torque.

C3, (Duwayne Mclendon) is a corrupt company, embezzled over 100K of customer's money, bought a house with it, then never shipped any parts..
so they went under.. Now, ELCmotorsports SUPPOSEDLY is picking up the pieces, but scores of complaints have been filed, and their reputation has hit bottom..
hopefully vvti.net will begin selling corolla-specific parts soon. Until then, many of us are finding alternate sources for parts. Or custom building, like i'm doing for everything LOL..

in a race i gotta give it to the corolla here.
a touch more hp, most likely the same weight, and almost definitly better gearing means he beats all stock accords.
good thing im not an accord....

Dude, just cuase your stock 88 lxi can't beat a corolla don't mean that I can't either. I've been there, done that. No offence to the corolla owner, i think he's car is pretty cool but I will still take him. I've got some mods done to my car that a lot of you don't know and i can say that my Sei picks up pretty fast and to the guy with the '85 lude.......... you ain't got nothing there! I've raced plenty of '85 ludes and let me tell you that only one of them got me good and that's because i don't know what i was thinking racin' that guy. He got like $5000 invested on that car ( engine alone). But it was fun. :devil: :devil: :devil: :devil:

ran a 17.3 @ 77 mph with a 2.6 60'.
and thats on the rims. they are all i have.

it could crack 15.5's im sure. but if i take it to redline i can finish the 1/4 in 3rd gear.
i dont have any other wheels to use. if i can find some steelies and take the pressure to like 20 it will give me the extra gearing i need. and being lighter.
but the 4.07 final drive just doesnt cut it. lotsa torque or not.
not to mention i have to ram the shit out of it to get it in 3rd :mad:
of course now i need to pull the head first :(. but that just isnt likely to happen. i just really wanted to break 14's on the stock engine before i put the B20 in. maybe if im really, *really* bored one weekend......
oh, and dont feel to bad. dont forget im 400lbs lighter :p

Nice prelude man! I like the wheels. How come your speed is so slow in the 1/4? Everything else looks right on the money even the 1/4 mile time correlates with your 1/8 mile time but your trap speed is a little slow. Looks like your losing top end power. Your 60' time is not bad and 330' is good to but then it's like you start to lose power down the end.
