who has rear "splash guards" aka mud flaps

i rarely see rear OEM splash guards on 3g's.
maybe 1 in 200 ??? if that

those things are as rare as hen's teeth.

my buddy was at the jy the other day and said he saw 2
pair. one was subby in length, the other pair was full length like the fronts.
i dont know if they made both types or not.?

i have some on my car, the person that got the car had gotten alot of upgrades like the window sun things and such, there seems to be alot of them in the florida junk yard, to bad im not in florida anymore...

I have those rear OEM mud flaps, too. Mine are all black rubber not the fancy ones Overdosed_A18A has. Sorry, no pic. Oh, and yes please, clarification on stubby vs. full length?

I have them. I actually bought the rear pair from the dealership when the car was new. They were only $20. I have modified all four of mine, though, by cutting them off at the "lines." All I have left is the part that is painted white on Overdosed's flaps. I sanded my cut lines with fine grit paper and they look really good - much more like the ones that came on newer Accords. I think the full length flap looks pretty old school, especially with it saying "Honda" on it!

they are not rare at all.
i see tons of them at my local junkyards.

yeah my DX or Lx-i did not come with them....so i went to the junk yard and paid 5 bucks for a pair.....yeah i think cars out of the states have the white letters that say honda...mine are just rubber....yeah you can find them in also every junkyard.

hey they fit!!! you revese them,left front goes on right rear,right front goes on left rear if they were cleaned up and painted with black bumper paint,the letters could be done in that special whie paint they use for doing tire lettering.

cool get some GOod pics... lol i want to see this MODwhen I get it done,they will look just like the ones in the picture the black and white ones. it's probably the same mudflap. I noticed the factory ones the honda emblems face each other vs facing towards the tire at the back. it's the same mudflap. I used to have an article on these the dealers used to charge a fortune for the read mud flaps. well some of them did. I like the white letter look it looks really old school,which is what i'm going for.

I have mine, original, I think they look classy as the car was supposed to kinda siloette a mercedes . I would be interested in a new pair if you have some with big logos with large red round circle with a slash thru a mitshitbitchi emblem.

i find them usefull, they (kinda) stop mud going all over the car, easier to wash after doing grass skids :D

I think besides a matter of personal taste, it makes a difference how you set up the car like regarding moulding body color or removed, lowering with large wheels, body kits, window tint, sometimes they look goofy if certain mods occur;

i like the way the mud flaps imo but if i got rims i would probably take them off they look best in the stock wheel form and i live on a dirt road so it does help alot they also kinda add to the ground effects like a lip and i like the noise when they scrape the ground haha

they stop the mud from going all over the car, es, but all of that mud is stored right behind the flaps, right where you don't want all that wet mud.. in the wheel arches.

thats why my aerodeck is rotten on 4 places... you can probably guess where...

I cleaned out all the wheel arches and welded in 3 plates. so there's still 1 arch to go. But that's for a professional.. I'm not touching that 'cause you see rust on the outside as well.
