I know there is info on 5spd swaps, I read them, all I am looking for is ppl with EXPERIANCE doing the swap, preferably one on an EFI '89 a20a3. What all parts I should get from what kind of vehicle, like i've seen ppl use ones from the accords, ludes, and integras. I want to hear what ppl have to say AFTER they have acctually done one. Problems they came across, parts they forgot, or fabricated for the job. Perfomance differences. What parts I should get used, what parts I should just get new. That kinda stuff.

I did mine right off the how to section, theres just one thing you need thats not on there which is the starter mount. Its about a 2.5 day job, and i reccommend getting a new clutch kit and flywheel. You can use a tranny from another 3gee accord or the lude with the a20 motor i beleive. If you dont have much experience with things like this i wouldnt reccommend it at all because it is a lot more work then it sounds. If your positive you want to do it and you have any questions that arent answered on the how to the message me.

Sweet, i'm not going to do this myself, I don't have an engine lift, so I can't do it myself even if I could put my car down for that long. It's my only car. I have a buddy who is the GM for a couple of Midas near me and he does my work that I can't [or don't want] to do. He cuts me a break on the labor and I don't have to pay tax or anything.

It's easy to do, just takes time. I added alot of information in the how to section. Make sure you have all the stuff you need to do it first. P.S. you don't need a lift. Just alot of good tools.
