I hooked my battery up backwards today. Thankfully Honda put a 70A fuse in there. But I must ask....
Why are the positive cables white/black, and the negative cable is a reddish brown? For goodness sake, one of the positive cables, which was black, even had a bunch of green tape on part of it. Black (and green in houses) are both standard for Ground in every system I have ever seen, and red is positive.
Is this just something a previous owner did? Or is this a Honda thing? Thanks.
