i was at the j/y yesterday and saw a 3g with efi (i have a carb and was thinking about the threads for efi swaps).
on the efi assembly itself it said 24 valve. not the valve cover, but on the efi assembly.

i though the 3g's were 16 valve.?
are carbed 16 valve and efi 24 valve?

???

A20A's are 12 valve unless it is a B20 DOHC then it's 16 valve both are 4-Cylinder motors.
24 valve would be a 6-Cylinder motor with 4 valves per cylinder.

it was a 3g, thats why i was like 24valve, what? ....
i took the bulbs out of the cruise control switch,
a screw for the console, and the thing that keeps the
rear view mirror from vibrating.

i am going back monday or tuesday
and i will see if my friend will let me borrow his
digital camera.
i know they have a policy against taking cameras in,(i dont know why)
but the camera my friend has is small enough to sneak it in.

maybe the cars there are stolen?

no, it's a legit yard, maybe 600 cars.... been there for decades.
i have no idea why they wont let cameras in.

i took my camera one day because i wanted to take some random pics of the lines and lines of cars.
dude said "no cameras".

wtf is up with wrecking yards. There is a yard by me that won't even let you go look at cars. They get all pissy if they have to take you back for some obscure part that's not listed in the computer. Oh dear god, someone might steal a bolt, or an oil cap!!

I think they are involved in some kind of scam, or they are breaking some regulation they don't want discovered.

there is no other reason to fear cameras.

yeah that takes the fun out of the junkyard junkies....my autobody teacher said that he would just have like jumpsuits and stuff all the stuff he need inside...once he said they took out a rear end by the a hole in the fence...now they are smart and have double fences...but still jy make lots of money...i called in for the dx once when it got me pissed and they said they would give me 112 bucks for it...i told them to screw themselfs....

hA! The Junkyards where Im @ are sweet, I just brought an 89 a20a3 everything for $130 and the odometer in the car says 87356, Its a pick and pull with hundreds of cars seperated by manufactuer, so if you guys come across a part ya cant find, I can probably get it, however there is for sure no b20a1 or b20a7's, I go check everyday, but theres other b series motors and f and H series.

at my junkyard they charge you $2 to even go in it sucks but they just give me more reason to take fuses and relays ha and they are pricy too $45 for a b21a1 throttle body and $25 bucks for an egr that prlly don't even work and now they have core charges you gotta bring back the old part to get your money back it sucks
