What Heads Can I Put On My a20a3?

Hi, guys i blew the head gasket on my 89 accord LXi and thought it would be a good time to swap heads. The stock head will need some machine work if i keep it. I was thinking of going VTEC, is this even possoble with a a20a3? i'm new to engine modding. please help?
