three days. from a thursday evening to a sunday, while i put on my dc sports headers. fellow i bought them from didn't give me the bolts that go between the primaries and secondaries. so i had to go to the hardware store and experiment.

Ha try 3 months. I was without my car for 3 months while I was wating to get enough money for paint, primer, bondo materials etc. I had already stripped the car so it was legally undriveable. Then I ran out of money and waited while I got money for supplies. I drove a $300 Hyundai Excel during that time. It sucked so bad. Once I got my Accord back, it felt so smooth and powerful and big and comfortable and luxurious! You may not think of an Accord as being such, especially not an 84, but try driving a tin can for 3 months.

mine was like 2 years....trany gave up and engine overheated. you could still drive it but LOTS of smoke and a bad trany...made it sit in a back parking spot. the worse part was that it got most of the body damage while it was parked....some one kicked in my fender...got hit on the street. lady left a note but later she did not pay up. sun damage... and since i got it up and running its been 1 month for the headgasket. and right now for like 2 months...does not want to pass smog...

i am at almost 10 months. i have driven it 57 miles in 10 months, and 53 of those miles were on one trip. :(

my 3gee lacked proper parts and a straight chassie, it sat on 4 jack stands for over a year and a half. There is a pic floating around somewhere. But yeah, i drove my 4th gen and my dads 90 camry in the meantime. but this was about 4 5 years back.

mine was down for about 3 months after my auto tranny blew, and after my 5 speed swap, winter came in. after winter left i decided to go turbo, and rebuild the engine. so everything added up, maybe 1 year and 3 months with driving it on the road?

its moved about 200 meters since the auto blew up

i havent driven my car since the sf meet which is now 3 weeks aaaaaand before that it was down for like a month.....just cuz i needed to replace the oil pan and never got around to do it. hopefully it will not be driven for the next six months...which is a good thing cuz that means im going to rebuild the engine, paint the engine bay, and some other misc things i've been wanting to do to it. right now im driving my lil brother's 01 civic while he's in iraq and fixing it up for him too as a welcome back present next year :D
