cool....must of been a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG drive.....i have some friends that are from guatemala.
my mother in belize right now
quote from her my space
shes driving around in a 1980 240d  BTW
THE HIGHWAY TO HELL.....or that is at least what the road from Corozal to Consejo should be called. It is sort of a catch-22....fix the road and enterprising five-fingered discounters may take a larger interest in perceived largesse....leave the road alone and there will be a lot of repair jobs to be had.
The road has gotten so shitty that most of the cabbies in Corozal are refusing to take passengers the seven miles to Consejo. It is not flooded or anything like that but the potholes cannot be avoided thus causing a great deal of damage to just about every vehicle that uses that road on a regular basis. Sooner or later one has to spend quality time bonding with tie rod replacements etc.
it took my mother 8 days in the 3gee to get to guatamala from winnipeg......
well today we did the swap
