If you have a vaccum leak it would.

yup tiny vacuum leaks can add up.

They once redid a supra with all new vacuum lines and dynoed it before and after... they got some nice power back just from that little tuneup.

So would the general idea of what I want to do just replace them one by one cutting the new hose to length of each peice I remove...Like remove one vacuum line and replace it...so I dont mix anything up.

i would first spray some wd-40 to check if you have a vacuum leak but if you want to replace it make sure you conect all of them in the right place.

not a good idea, its flamable. try some soapy water in like one of those spray bottles thing. or better yet, go to a hardware store and get some of that lead detector stuff and put it in a spray bottle with water. works great.

well that is only if you can see the lines....there are like 30 billion...thats why i use carb cleaner or wd-40 cuz you can feel the idle change/ die. dont spray the whole thing...just give short squirts till it evaporates adn then spray again.

not wd-40... that stuff messes with the rubber.

I would use carb cleaner.

Well...today I took a good look and found a few hoses that I noticed were cracked....so I replaced those... slight difference in the performance...but I only have 6 ft of vacuum line to use... no money at the moment.
