well if you get a 89 SE-i they have rear disks....it all depends on the junkyard...a range would be from 150-200 bucks.

On a stock car you dont really NEED rear disc although it will help with the stopping power. Im going to do it on my car because i did engine work so i need more stopping power. It depends on the junkyard that you go to, you'll probably pay like $100.

back n the day when I did this I think it cost me 500-550 for the swap parts. This was back in 96 so an sei was still pretty pricey for parts.

but yeah nowadays depending on the yard it will probbly be about 150 give or take. I did my 4th gen rear disc swap for 90 bucks about a year ago with pick and pull parts.

if you can't find an se-i, you can do it with the 1g legend rear end as well. just have to pull the whole lower control arm, if i'm not mistaken.

the only problem with that is that you will have a 4x114 hub and the car will sit lower but if you have coil overs and thoes tuner wheels that are universal 4 lug it should work fine.

has anyone actually done the 1g legend swap? it has to be from a coupe, the sedans have a different rear suspension setup. i was going to test the swap at a junkyard and take pics a LONG time ago, but ever since i had a baby i've been kind of busy:lol:

if you can get in touch with CASH24, he can tell you more. he said he did it on his 3g. idk if he still comes around the forums, though.
