system won't charge

I have an 1987 honda accord lxi and the battery won't charge. I got my alternator tested and it was fine and I got the battery tested and it was fine. There is a plug and the main white wire going to the alternator. i accidently grounded out the white wire and it blew my battery fuse so I know it is getting power. Also the belt is turning the alternator pully so I know the belt is working properly. Every fuse in the car seemed to be fine too. Is there anything else I can check or look at before I have to take it to a shop?

I know it sounds stupid but start the car and test the voltage at the battery. it should be between 13.5 and 14.4V. if it is anything below or above your alternator is done.
where did you take the battery and alternator for a test?
