I'm trying to order cap and rotor for the distributor.
Could someone tell me how I can tell if my distributor
is made by Hitachi or TEC? According to
http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com, the type
of carb makes a difference.
By the way, the distributor has the following stamped on the
body:
D4R86-28 7103 B
Thanks.

(1) What brand of HT wire should I get? NGK is $30. Genuine Honda is $45.
(2) For a tune up, what should I replace on the distributor besides
the cap, rotor, and HT wires?
Thanks!
