has anyone gotten mad tyte jdm seats off ebay? just wondering right now i'm looking at these (http://www.shophyperformance.com/store/001302.html) since corbeaus mount too high, and i like my seats low. i like those seats there cheap and look kinda like Recaro's.

my only suggestion is to find a local dealer for those seats, and sit in them. They may be uncomfortable as hell.

fyi corbeaus don't mount high because they are corbeaus. it is due to the fact of it being a reclinable seat, its because of the bracket. and those seats come with sliders, not brackets, just like corbeaus.

so if you want to save MONEY, these are cheaper, but they won't fit any better. that will be determined by the way you install them. as far as i know, the only aftermarket bracket is by corbeau, but it probably isn't that hard to make new, or modify stock seat brackets to attach to aftermarket seat rails...

AFAIK, most reclinable seats mount higher than i would like, because of the nature of their shape. it is usually easier to get a bucket mounted down low.

i dont want u to spend $500 getting these seats installed, and then hit your head on the roof and complain about it.

sparco supposedly makes a bracket but i havent really seen either of these installed yet. Im gonna try a modified corbeau bracket on the tenzo seats and see how it works

I Modified stock seat brackets when i installed mine. It was quite easy as long as you have the tools.

Heres the thread where i did it.
