will they fit without any mods, i have access to one of these engines dirt cheap with tranny cables an all the junk to make it work, everything. i will make my own mounts.

i will build it useing a newer head tho, somthing with vtec, providing i dont have to get modified axels.(i think they are good for 170hp/129tq??w/vtec head?).

thanks, i did do some searching but didnt turn up much, how ever it did turn up what i was looking for yesterday lol. completely unrelated to.

actually

I think when placeracing was sellimg the swap parts one of the axles wa a stock on e and the other was modified I think So you would only have to get one axle made.

Custom axles arent that expensive though so that shouldnt throw you off.

For my swap I am running an 89 Integra passenger side axle on the passenger side. On the drivers side I am running an 86-89 Accord passenger side center shaft with 90-93 integra ends. the 89 integra Axle is to short and I am going to go have it extended. I have been running it for 3000 miles, but it has been clicking for about 1500 of those.

oh, so i could make my own axels if i have both the accord and the teg axels?, that would really kick ass. well i'm still going to gnaw on this idea for a while to come.

so the teg axels fit the 3g hubs then i take it, this is going to be sweet. unfortunaly i just recieve my stage 2 tri-low today so the b series is going to have to wait till i blow this engine up lol.

i'm only using the car for racing. and the odd drive to work and i get bored of my other cars.

thanks for restoring my hope in this project.

how much would they typically cost, and most importantly, how much power can they withstand?

Mine was the price of the axle + $59.95 to put the accord rod in there. Should be good for around 300 HP or so, if you are not dumping it everywhere.

price of the axle, what does that mean? does it mean the price of an OEM axle?

im seriously considering using a B series tranny after i go turbo cause i can get ahold of them for cheap, but theres no point unless i can get proper axles

Yes that is what it means, but I am not sure what you will need if you run a b-series tranny on the a20.

i dont just want the tranny, i want the whole engine in my car, i just figured if the cv axels are easy, then its more of an incentive to get the engine bay ready for the b18.
