yep the quaife lsd finally showed up for the jdm b20a. Man its pretty!!!!

Anyway ive torn down manual trannys but never a transverse transaxle. Any help you can think of before i start. keep in mind this tranny is worth its weight in gold since theyre non-replacable in the us apparently. Thanks yo. while i have the tranny apart is there anything anyone can think of for general info.

Since it's a B20 tranny, i'd leave it alone.

Sweet. It's the only way to go. how much did you have to shell out for that quaife lsd?

That's why I don't want to get a B20, if anything goes wrong, it'll be a bitch to get parts.

nnew in box 730 shipped. i was way surprised when i sniped the auction and it ended that low. all the other ones ive bid on have gone from 875-950 or so. Ill tell you what its the best looking part of all my parts turbo and otherwise.

Im not looking for all the power out of the engine but id like to make the most of every one I get

well like rob and everyone else has figured out. turbo projects are expensive. I figure if i can finish the project before i toss out another few grand. cool

thats why if you have the money you will go with a b18...just as good as a b20 i guess.

I would agree, except the mounts are different.

re-doing the mounts once and having unlimited access to parts seems much better than a bolt-in engine but having to go through hell and high water just to get something simple.

yes im aware of this....but i agree with snoopyloopy....they even made mounts for us....and cheese has them. the b18 has way more options and since its the next best thing its our only choice. i can go on craigslist and find 5-6 b18 and b16 on a good week

well in defense of my inherint money issues with this car. im actually trying to keep it entirely 3gee not a frankenstein monster with newer parts and such. I appreciate all mods whether they be cheap or costly but if you want to keep it original keep it stock, clean and hard to tell what youve actually done to it. those are the cars that everyone likes. not the exotic fiberglassed trailor queens
