Others stuff to check while the manifold is out?

I have the intake manifold out so I can get it chopped and joined to a sidedraft manifold. Man, the bay looks empty with all the vacuum lines, carb and manifold gone. It wasn't too bad to remove - I took my time and used Carotman's explanation for removing it in his document on converting from carb to EFI in the How To section. While this stuff is out, does anyone have recommendations on stuff I should check for wear?

check your belts, your brakes, brake lines, fuel lines... all this stuff is easily checked with the manifold in place, but it's overlooked greatly...

might want to check your coolant hoses before and after you reinstall... may save you some trouble later on

oh and PVC, coolant lines, heater hoses, power steering lines. Also check for oil leaks. Remember to plug the intake runners!
