i think i can get it to run, dont know how well, but i'm mainly in for the minor hp boost they will have to offer(if any) along with my tri-flow II cam.
i did some reading, they should offer much better throttle response over the stock intake manifold, may also lose some lower end tq. but make up for it in the higher rpm band. i know that much about them.
not ready to invest in mega squirt yet, as this project car is to be built as cheap as fast as posible :). just doing this to see if i can.

its a great idea, but yea management would be a bitch. your not really gonna get any noticeable power gain, and i think our throttle response is pretty damn good, but go for it if your ready

yea i'm actually still contemplating it, the injectors are in the itb's right, so you if you put a runner inbetween the itb's and the head, your moving the injectors away from the head, i'm sure thats probably not a good thing to do.
so heres my other option.
i found some old parts from my dads eagle vista(efi), uses some weird tb that has rubber fittings on both sides. they are skinny enough tho to stack next to each other. so i'm gonna run down to the wrecking yard i think and see if i can find 3 more of these things and try to make my own itb's.(i have to much time and yet i'm very lazy :( )
hell, all i need is a 4 tubes with butter fly's, and i'm sure i could make my own, using the a20a3/4 intake flange leaving the injectors in it.

they are off a 2003 954 RR.
i looked at them today, the tps plugs in aparently and the fuel lines bolt up, only thing he wasnt sure about was the fuel injectors, but since i pretty much already did a somewhat custom efi conversion to my car, this will be a piece of cake.

i had an idea of taking the stock or the B18A intake manifold and cutting the plenum off and you know how they have the secondary throttle plates .. making those the throttle bodys.. if anyone understands at all what im saying.. i could go into more detail

Injectors should be mounted as far away from the head as possible, this gives you the best fuel to air mixture as it has the entire runner length to mix the fuel adn air up with, having them in the port is purely for safety/noise/emissions/economy and certainly not performance. Some of the best ITB setups even have the injectors on the edge of the top of the trumpets squirting on top of the butterfly's dead dangerous but when open throttle it isn't bet gets you the best fuel and air mix ever saw a 89 M3 with custom made slide ITB's with a re-bored and stroked stock block basic head mods made 300bhp!! Not to mentioned sounded simply awesome!!!!

oh wow then, ok my plans have changed, i will use a carbed intake manifold then instead. this is good because they are more round than the efi instake flange/runners.
