ok so when we installed my konis we didnt cut the bumpstops (even though geddy said to lol) and now I see that most people on here do cut them. What is the point or advantage of shortening them? Will it wear out the shock faster, or can they handle the extra travel?

I found an old suggestion from Jim not to cut them too much:
I would resist the tempation to trim allot of the Koni bumpstops, absolutely don't trim them down more than half. I'd do 3/4 if it were my car.
