:help: Ok, so as you can tell I have the gold metallic paint and the nice doo doo brown interior. I'd like to redo the interior but I am at a loss as to what color/colors I should use. I know the standard black would look decent in the car, but painting interior parts black usually doesn't look so good IMHO. :rice: So basically I would like to know what factory color scheme you guys think would look decent with the gold paint.

http://www.3geez.com/forum/showthread.php?t=55319 , I did my stuff black, personally i dont see a black scheme being rice at all, I am even goin to top off the trim with a brushed aluminum look, simple and classy if you ask me, and I don't know how any other DIY scheme will look, white, but easy to mess up and anything else, i.e red, yellow, your def. goin the :rice: route.

Hell yeah Messy, i agree, i like that interior a lot. I can't tell from my monitor cause the color is all screwed but is it a platinum/titanium colored??

While I do like the black interior, I just would rather avoid painting it. It's not the color I don't like, just the paint part. I'm just not that good with the interior paints. Rephrasing what I said, I don't want to paint it black and have it come out all rice looking. I actually think yours came out very good. I actually painted my center console and i didn't like the way it came out so that is why i feel as I do. I just know I can't do that good of a job so I'd rather go with a factory interior.

Ahhhhh yea I agree, I redid a few of my peices because they were like that, good clearing up BTW, as far as that goes I think the grey is a nice neutral color, GL and update

The gray interior would work alright I guess. It's not too uncomon to see one. They tend to become greenish over time so choose with care.

its like a gray....dash....or you can go the picopop route....ive seen his interior in person and it looks good. he already had a top black dash and the bottom was tan...he painted it and it came out real good.

I've got the beige leather interior. :)

But the grey leather looks really nice.

The best solution is swapping out the entire interior for SE-i leather. :)

Of course, SE-i leather in good condition is rare, so YMMV.

BTW, I also used to have brown interior.

Peace.

i like my burgundy interior on my platinum lx-i but that's just me. but hey best idea in my opinion... paint the car black and do black or beige interior. looks the nicest.

Ok, so I'm gonna search the world over for an SE-i with this interior now! To hell with the lx and upgrading, I'll just get this and go from there, so many less things to do (rear disc etc.) and money to be saved for a nice turbo!

No you are wrong. the picture you posted is of a coupe. the piccture that was poste before is of a 4dr. Look at the bottom slot behind the speaker (4dr), look at the handle and you will see a power lock switch (only 4drs came poer lock), look at the very left of the picture and you will see the bottom slot of the door curve up, (Short door panel = 4dr) look at the switch in the door 4 switches = four windows = 4drs (4 dr)
