umm why purple? Do you have a rainbow sticker in the back window too?um whats wrong with candy purple engine parts? it takes a lot of work to polish those parts to paint them, that paint is translucent. it's a lotter better looking then flat black factory parts.
thats been a popular custom car color for years.

i think it looks cool....kinda random though but coolwell a lot of the other stuff was already purple this is just more of it, thats the only color like that under the hood. the piece that holds the plug wires will be that color to just haven't painted it yet. lets see,it's that piece water pump, water pump washer, alternator bracket, accent on alternator, thermostat housing and cover, valve cover grommets, oil cap, honda on valve cover, carb adaptor on carb, air cleaner, air cleaner brace, power steering pump. when I'm done the car will be silver and I think it will look better. when i'm done I want to carry some of the purple on to the car as an accent like a pinstripe, the car will be silver of course. I am going to do the underhood in that color so it will all tie together. after I had put the aeroquip lines on, they came out with earls fittings in that color, but the aluminum AN fittings are so expensive I really can't afford to change them right now. for an idea how long it takes to do pieces like that, look at the power steering pump,it had to be disassembled, media blasted, cleaned to remove all the abrasive, rebuilt when put back together, polished, then painted. then the pulley had to be blasted and painted. all this stuff gets baked in my kitchen, new house gets an old oven under the carport,by wifes orders. LOL

yeah. I had silver charge pipes but i like the way the flat black looks now. I got a polished intake manifold so idk. I didnt paint the new engine so it looks like every other stock accord. Remember, i gotta keep the slow car illusion going. I think if you rework an intake manifold and make it look like the rest of the parts that would be tits. AN fittings are sweet but expensive
