i got a 10" bazooka sub in a 1.5 cubic ft. bassworx box. I got a wiring kit with my 200w amp, but it didn't come with any speaker wires to go to the sub, or connect the sub to the box. so, my question is, what guage of speaker wire should i use to connect my sub to my amp?

Thanks

what kind of wires did you use on your system? I know it is a little bigger than 200W

i was using 8awg but thats a little over board even for my setup just go to your local stereo shop and ask for some speaker wire as long as its not supper thin u should be fine

mine are 16g...its moster cable tho...so it was like 8 bucks for 10 feet....you are going to like the sub...it gives it a lil extra thump...i have a 300 watt kicker and all i can say is that you dont need extra fancy and expensive subs...im happy with my 10 inch sub.

yeah i just wanted a little more bass, but nothing defening, so i opted for a lower wattage 10". Any way, i have another problem with the wiring. My deck only has one white rca subwoofer output. It does not have a red rca cable, but my amp has the plug ins for both the white and red rca cables. So is it mono bass or something?

yeah that is wut you get then you let the best buy dues push you arround....my friend also got like 2 12 inch subs and a amp installed at best buy for like 300 bucks.....sad part was that my old kicker subs hit harder.
