:gun::gun::gun::gun::gun:

dammit i was fooling with my new cai and i was using the shaft of a socket driver (like a screwdriver with a socket attatchment) to ease the coupler over the cai and the socket came off.. i thought oh shit as i heard it go down the cai and hit my filter in the bumper.

goddammit :banghead::pc:.. my street is not the place to be doing under car repairs and theres a nice puddle under my passenger wheel.:pc: at least it's sunday so traffic is light :uh:

wait, so what happened was the socket came off and dropped down the piping to the filter located near the front tire? is the filter located where that plastic shield things is in front the of the front tire? if so, why not just take that off, take the filter out and get the socket if you havent had luck fishing it out? i honestly dont think the engine pulls enough air to suck that socket up, but really that wouldnt be something to find out if it was possible.

i just decided to suck it up (not literally) and move the wheel well lining.. it wasn't as bad as I thought though it was interesting trying to get the filter on and off in the dark.. getting it back on was a bitch cause theres a small spacer piece that goes between the filter and pipe and it kept sliding around

I forgot you made yours and it was steel. I was thinking it was aluminum. At least you got it out and aren't too worse for wear...
