well i love my 3 gee to death but its carbed :( and now it has a killer stereo so im happy with it except for the body and engine which has 465ks on it now

so today on my way driveing to home depot i saw these 2 2nd gen teggys for sale i dunno how much they are but the one i saw when i went tehre was standard which i want and has rims 4 wheel disks and a cf hood... it has a little rust spot around the back wheel well. so im thinking i wanna go back and see the white one cause it looked much better but what are u ideas on having a teggy as my for fun car

thats what i was thinking i want to stay honda but i cant find any older preludes and i would kill myself if i got a civic even though a teggy is a civic kinda but its way nicer


and i want a gsr... they were avalable in canada right

ehh, personally i dont like integras too much. but thats mainly because the ones i've seen havent been kept as nice as my accord. i would say keep the accord. i mean are you going to find another nice hb? maybe its just my location, but i havent had luck finding an accord hb in decent, not perfect, shape if any at all which has been none. my friend just bought a 2nd gen teg, turns out it needs more work than he thought when he first looked at it. he paid $2000 on it, its decent, but has a shotty paint job and needs some brake work. the abs went out on it and is giving him problems.

ah, well i knew it was rusty some, so no surprise. i did happen to think it was a hatch back though. sorry, wrong car i was imagining.

the bad thing about it is my dad washed that car twice a week and weve had that car since 1990..... damn the government for salting the road :'(

Sell your car, you can probably get like $500 for it. Then buy a lxi or sei for about $1000-$1200. Swap your audio system out, and your good to go.

aww i just got it all installed though lol so ill keep this old gal for the winter atleast but i also want more jam cause my car dont have much after all thsoe miles :( so would efi be that much better

oh and another question my friend who is very gay and knows nothing about cars thinks hes the shit because he bought a v6 alero which had a new muffler (which he calls new exhaust) and a new intake (which is because they recalled all the intakes on that car) so now he figures that his car has 220 hp after being 175 stock.... oh ya his car is also auto....

so there basically no way for my 89 accord which is also auto to beat him if i had a standard i might stand a chance cause hes a idiot so if i were to do an efi swap which i prolly wont do ill just get an exi if i can find one and put actaul cai and exhaust i could stand a good chance right?

or should i just gett a teggy gsr and put sum bolt ons cause that would rape his car in a second lol

EFI is a 22hp differance then carb, EFI is 120hp carb is 98hp. Buy a fuel injected 5-speed and do a CAI, intake, header or just turbo it. With a intake and muffler and stock exhaust manifold and exhaust pipe it might give like 5-10hp. If you can get your accord to like 140hp you can probably beat him because of the weight differance. The best power gain will be a turbo though.
