The only thing im having troubles with are rattles. The only major spots are the trunk lid and the rear deck. Any cheap solutions anyone? Thanks.

no cheap solutions....get dynamat....and where the hell are the wires to the amp?

the chrome parts detach so all of the wires come up from under neath and are hidden behind the plate. I'll take a pic with the plate off.

and i dont really want to buy dynamat becasue it is so expensive, but i guess its the only way:thumbdn:

try tighting your LIC. plate or take it off and put it in the back window

its actullay easyer to put a sponge behind it, it would rattle more in the back window

wow you got a nice clean install Jschatte...it looks clean as hell...anyways....i also have a 300watt amp and it makes the car rattle a bit...i notice that it rattles from the spring that lifts the trunk lid and also the 3rd light. my licence plate did not make alot of noise...

p.s. i like the pedals.

lol... i think half the people on here have those pedals...
anyway i'll look at those 2 spots tomarrow because the more rattles i get rid of, the better.

yeah something the USDM accords have, you can close the two outer vents, Not sure why you would do that but its a feature!

dynamat is WAYY overpriced. Get Raamat, from raamaudio.com . it's just as good at a fraction of the cost. trust me man, i've been researching on forumboards every minute i can. and i've asked the pro's "www.hifibuyshashville.com" about dynamat. they'll tell you that dynamat is not sticky enough and can pull itself off an inverted piece of metal "aka: trunk lining"
in the dead of summer. now dynamat extreme isn't gonna go anywhere, but why waste your precious money right??? raamat is cheaper and better. plus it comes in rolls of 50' so you'll have plenty of it left over for all the small things that rattle.

i'm gonna buy me some here soon as soon as i get a loan paid off. my intentions are 2 jl 8w7s pushed by jl 500:1 amp, new h/u, 4 channel amp for the front and rear deck speakers and rewiring the complete audio of the car which means no unnecessary wires. just power, remote turn on, fm, and speaker cable.

also to help i'm making a mdf trunkboard to keep rattles to a complete minimum. also making a fg enclosure for each 8w7 and hooking up the amps onto the backing of the reat seat. should come out quite nice once i'm all done. but it will definately be like spring before i have fabbed my trunk up. so i'm in no hurry.
