does a a18a gearbox from an accord fit on the ES engine from a 2g poolude. saying this cause we are puting a new engine in our red accord once again to sell it and we figured an ES dual carb engine from a prelude is WWAAYYYY better than a gay a18a with a carb that never works.

also does anyone have any specs on this ES engine. i know they go pretty damn fast

ES

The ES displaced 1.8 L (1829 cc). All ES engines were SOHC 12-valve engines. The ES1 used dual sidedraft carburetors to produce 100 hp (75 kW) @ 5500 rpm and 104 ft·lbf (141 Nm) @ 4000 rpm. The ES2 replaced this with a standard 3 barrel carburetor for 86 hp (64 kW) @ 5800 rpm and 99 ft·lbf (134 Nm) @ 3500 rpm. Finally, the ES3 used PGM-FI for 101 hp (75 kW) @ 5800 rpm and 108 ft·lbf (146 Nm) @ 2500 rpm.

I would that that gear box would bolt up!

if you can use a 2gee lude box on a A20 I'd think you can use a A18 box on a ES!

Also I found a list of cars that you can use the H4 Automatic on. might help!!

The H4 was Honda's first 4-speed automatic transmission. It is distinguished from the later H4A by its use of two rather than three shafts.
