Do you have a spring compressor, don't need to get hurt without one? Hopully that drop isn't too low to need prelude arms or camber kit. Might need to get alighnment pulling all that suspension out.

That Bug is sweet! My 2nd vehicle was a 74 super beetle that I spent 8 months on fully restoring. Same set up, 1835cc with dual webers. Car pulled like crazy! I had to get rid of it after I rolled it on it's side a few times and bent the trailing arm sliding into a curb during the second roll over! :eek5: What fun I had in that car!

That bug is sweet. You are going to love the H&R's, I know I love mine. Dont be surprised if the ride is a little hard the 1st day, I know mine was hard for the 1st day and the 2nd, then the 3rd day it rode smoother. I cant wait to see the car lowered.

Tokicos are just a "little" better thent he KYB's. I would weight for this (http://www.3geez.com/forum/showthread.php?t=54771) to go through and buy these struts. If not you can always modify EF civic struts.

How are those KYB's? Are they uber bouncy with that drop? I am planning on a 1" drop and the KYBs are easy to get ahold of.

Think they'd handle a tiny drop like that without turning into a trampoline?

So far the ride is okay, the only thing I having problems with is the rear tires rub a little on bumps. Other than that they seem good.

I used some rubber spacers that go in between the coils on the rear. There real cheap and easy to use. They dont change the ride hieght just stiffen the spring a little on compression.
