In this picture, your car looks like station wagon. i think it would look HOT as shit if honda made that civic in station wagon.

thanks for the comments! Its almost done, about another week!

As for you guys in love with the 99-00 si :thumbdn:

mines not a 99, or an 00, nor an si lol...

its a 96 ex with a 99-00 front end, and an h22... i eat si's for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, even if i dont rev all the way to redline. :Owned2:

Now im torn on my wheel decision, im thinkin im going to go with a 15x6.5 Rota Auto X, royal black, with a polished lip. Wrapped in some 205/50/15 BFG KDW's... mmm mmm good.

Good to see the car is almost back on the road. I bet you can't wait. That CF hood looks good. Was the car originally silver? The reason I ask is because the firewall looks silver to me, but I dunno. One thing that bothers me a little is the tailight and how the inner part has some Orange in it. I think it should be clear all the way across the bottom, but thats just me. But the car looks good, that body style is probably my favorite body style Civic.

my sig image is old, the outer pieces were 99-00 and the inners were 96-98 witht he amber...
I now have custom 96-98 all the way across that i painted transparent red (minus the reverse light), so they're all red.
As for the headlights, i had just put some SI headlights in the day before the accident, i was adjusting my beam/aim pattern and went out to see how it was that night, and thats when i got in the accident.

EDIT:

No, the whole bay is black, and yes, the car used to be silver. That silver section you see there is the body thats under the lower air damn at the base of the windshield. The car was fully jammed and everything when it was painted. So when that lower air dam is on, you cant see it.

And IMO I think rota auto x in silver would look good on your car, not black.

i know the owner, as my uncle gave him that shop CHEAP.

If i get fucked in anyway, all problems will be taken care of in a tidy swift manner.

define cheap.

wax (get the liquid wax) - $26
terry cloth (microfiber) - $9
Rubber Shammy (the absorber) - $9
foam style sponge - $5
car wash soap - $8
total : $60 or so
and thats before you spend the good 4 hours waxing it the RIGHT way

cheap....under 50 bucks if posible...i already have like a douzen terry cloths, car soap, and i use the california wiper blade...it works good for drying the car...even tho its for windows....it does not leave any water behind even my autobody teacher thought it was cool...i just went to autozone and i didnt knoe wut wax to get...i just want something to bring back the shine on my car....with out spending alot of time...i was looking at that eagle "wax as you dry" but i dont want to cheap out on a car wax.....some member told me to wait till chrismas to get thoes gift deals....that comes with everthing you need to wax the car.

We use those California blades at my work. I agree they do work well, but the created some scratches on my car so I stopped using it. I do still use them on the new cars on the lot to save time though. I've seen that "wax-as-you-dry" stuff, and Im pretty sure that the wax wont last as long as if you just used regular wax.

If you really want to bring the shine and color back, you would need to polish it. I polish my car 2 or 3 times a year. Wax does shine, but polish is what really makes the difference. Really, wax is used for protection. You really dont need to spend that much on wax. If you wax by hand, I would use the paste wax, and I got that at Wal-Mart (Meguiars brand) for less than 10 dollars. I spent about 30 dollars on 3 microfiber towels, the wax, and the polish. Remember to clean you towels everytime you use them to prevent scratches from forming again.

I already don told you. Get a Claybar kit, it costs $20 and comes with everything you need. After that, you can spend extra money on fanccy wax and whatnot, but you need to get those dirt particles off your car before the wax will really do it's thing.

its not that i dont trust you....but i wanted a 2nd opinion.....yeah i saw the clay bar kit for like 16 bucks and it comes with 4oz of cleaner wax...plus you said it was a one time usething i would would have to take a whole day off to do it.

Well, if you want good paint... It won't take a whole day, but it'll take 3 hours or so.
I got two claybars and I used 3/4 of one on my car. It only gives you enough wax for one use is what I was saying

So i know the bumper is off a little on the paint, but i couldnt find the paint code, and i dont know what the exact color name is (nor does the previous owner) so they got it as close as they could.

Here are some teasers for ya... it comes home tomorrow!

ot bad espically with a high metallic liek that they did a good job with getting it close to it, to me it looks liek shadows but yah i would never ever put stuff on top of cars i worked on when i was in bodyshops, let alone if i painted trim peices i would hide them from the body techs until they needed them so that they wouldnt get mangled up after i painted stuff

Hey Halxi...............did they clear the hood? If not, make sure that they do. The gelcoat in cf will fade if you don't give it some uv protection.:)
