my does not like to start in the morning i have to pour gas into my carb when it gets going its fine 45minutes later it sputters like out of gas sometimes it just cuts of whats up help me

What exactly does it do? My ports were broken off so i epoxyed them back on. Didn't run any different than with them plugged. I replaced it w/ a junkyard one, still didn't change anything....

so what could be making my car run fine and just stall like its out of gas
why does my car not want to start early in the morning but fine in the afternoon when the weather has warmed up 1989 honda accord lx:gun:
my carb makes a sucking sound what could cause this sounds like alot of air like "shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh hhhhhhhhhh"is this normal or what

i just went out and its like 2 regular hoes.....i think they just temp sensors so the carb knows how to run.....mine are black...maybe yours are new...mechanics paint alot of stuff brite colors...like yellow green so they knoe where to put it back

not talking about the hoses talking about the thing on top the thermostat housing the they connect to

Fuel filter(s)

http://www.pauldesign.ru/honda/shopmanual.html
You can find vast amounts of info in the shop manual available here free!

In my 89 Lx there are 2. One in the engine bay on the drivers side at the firewall. Look for red braided fuel line. It's a small filter, tubular in design. The other is located on the drivers side of the gas tank. Remove the rear wheel and it's basically right there inside a little case.

filters changed thanks guys
Cool, notice any diffecence???

You have a carb, you have a choke problem! Welcome to the carb club! i'll bet it's the vacuum pull off just like mine! Dunno how to fix it yet, but at least i know what is wrong!

the one in the engine bay is attached to the firewal almost under the mystery box with all the cool vacumm tubes coming out of it. lol....well at least thats on the efi model. the other one i think is located under those cool metal circles in your trunk under the uber cool carpeting :D

both are on the drivers side of the car

here is the front one

heres the rear one, between the gas tank and the wheel

i replaced mine without taking the wheel off, the only difficult part of taking my rear one off was getting the filter (which is white in the picture) out of the black bracket thats around it, but it was still easy.
