i went ahead to the j/y and picked up some spare wheels for the '88 lx-i
they are factory aluminum 13" nothing special with like brand new tires! $150 for the whole set...
anyways,the mofo's dont fukkin fit!
the rims/tires are from the same run of the mill 3gee....the bolt pattern is to small!
the ones on my lxi are 14's.....wouldnt the lug pattern be ExACTLY the same size for 13" and 14" 4X100,right?
give me some insight...hopefuly im not fucked and i can get my $$ back!!

uh...i think the reason that they dont fit is because 13's dont fit on lxi's the smallest you can go is 14. its not the pattern. its the size. the calipers are too big for 13's to fit

LOL....you just got yiped....i paid 120 for my fat fives with newish tires....lol 13 inch rims are only good for 86-87 Lx-i and carbed from 86-89....the 88-89 lx-i use 14 inch rims cuz they got 10inch rotors.

13" will only fit if you have very little offset.

well got my 15's that are now on a 94ish civic, just have to go get them now, that deal is sealed, but I am putting them on my 86 accord, will those fit. and will I need the coilovers on the accord for the 15s, and if so there may be some on that 94ish donor car , would they fit the accord.
My 94, Im not doing anything to but small upgrades to sell it, this other car just happens to have the wheels I want on my accord

oh my god, we need FAQ abotu this.
here is the laydown on accord.
IN 86-87 model year the brakes were identical. It didn't matter if you had DX, LX or LXi. Thus you can fit 13" rims without any problem.

IN 88-89 year honda made a few changes.
DX and LX kept the same beakes as it was in 86-87. They came with 13" in stock form.
But LXI and SEI came with bigger brakes and 14" rims in stock form. Because of the larger brakes you can't fit on 13" on LXi and SEI model in 88-89 years.

i hope that will explain to some of you.
