I just want to know in detail what setting/adjustments you guys have on your SAFC 2's. I am going to go turbo so i'll need to know setting for turbo but for now i just want my N/a To run to it's fullest. And by setting/adjustments i mean like your Afl, throttle, etc. You guys with SAFC's will know what i'm talking about.(i think).. Let me know and thanks for any help.

Does anyone know if our ECU has an RPM signal going to it. If so do you know the wire colore and the pin number.? Thanks

i don't think our ECUs use that. you may be able to tap into the the wire that goes from the coil to the stock tach.
PS. without wideband O2 sensor you are going to waist your time and money.

if you have an aftermarket ignition module such as msd 6a or 6al, there is a spade connector that is tach output.
on my car with MSD setup, the negative coil wire DID NOT give rpm signal, but that may be because i have msd ignition and msd coil, and in setting that up it may change some of the wiring.
i would have assumed that negative coil wire would have worked though....

I installed a gen1 afc and when I went over the pinouts I could not find an RPM signal. I could be wrong though. Depending on what the SAFC is looking for, you can tap the RPM signal from the coil.

I used the rpm tach out on my msd box before I converted to obd1. it worked perfectly fine. Y ou should also be able to use the same coil output the stock tach in the dash uses.
