I have an interesting problem.
the cooling fan will not come on when the ingnition switch is on when i turn off the car the fan will come one.
I have looked everywhere to figure this out and nothing please help!!!!

im also having this problem....i jumped the switch at the bottom of the radiator....and both fans turn on....the termal sensor is bad i bet....i have to get one but they quoted me 30 bucks for one...and i didnt have the money so im driving my car with the fans on all the time...and it blow in the morning...cuz i have not heat.

jump the wires...i used a piece of speaker wire...and both fans turned on...maybe you just got a bad switch...see if you can return it.

worse case scenario is it's the fan controler chip thing.. hopefully it's not though :)

yeah tommy said that could also be bad.....i can get one at the junkyard tho...so i dont pay like hundreds of bucks for it...hehe

Hi,
Did you jump the thermo sensor wires as others have suggested? I've seen several other threads where a new thermo sensor was bad from the vendor. If jumping wires works, your new thermo sensor is bad.

yeah itdid the same thing with the old switch in too
