most of the guys here just get in touch with importers or have friends overseas ship them. its really hard to find one in great condition though. and once you get it, its even harder for find parts for it :(
theres alot on trademe (http://trademe.co.nz)

looks like you will need a fuel injectiong swap first and then start looking for the motor...some one just got a complete motor for 1450 plus shipping.....with that much you can stick a b18...you will need copies of the mounts but should not be hard if the member does it. look under the engine swap section

you have to import them, unless you can find someone on here willing to sell there's. and dont get the 3rd gen preludes b20a5 confused with the engine you want, your wanting the b20a wich like posted need to either be imported or bought of another owner

yeah i know not to get fucked with getting the wrong motor, but correct me if im wrong cant i just use my stock intake manifold with a weber carb?
a b20 from a 2nd gen lude will fit, and i think you can bolt the weber intake onto the b20a, but not the b18, the heads are different i think

i belive you are corect on that but i might be misinformed aswell, much more power would be gained by doing a fuel injected swap first like messy said, just mw .02

not that i know of and if you want a little more power then just do the fuel injection swap on just your a20 its good for another 25 or so hp, or just do some basic bolt ons to get better responce and more power, unless you got close to 2.5 grand to import a b20a

I agree 1986-87 A20A3 FI is 110 HP and 88-89 is 122HP
or maybe a FI CAM swap would be good or your mani with a webber bolted to a A20A3?
But B20's are Very rare while A20A3's are a drop in a bucket

i think some b20's came with carbs, not sure though

some did come with them, but i have never seen a carbed one swaped into a car here in the states due to the fact if yur swaping you want the most bang for your buck, swaping in a carb b20 would be like owning a FI A20

B20a and A20 intake and weber has been done by a few people on this board. Just do a search.
The intake manifold will bolt up with no problems. You will loose a lot of power by doing so.

b20a must be imported from either japan, new zealand, europe, or some other place that got the b20a stock. take note that the european b20a is actually the b20a4 which has about 16 less ponies than the b20a found in jdm spec vehicles. this is due to different ecu and cams and a few more minor changes. and when ordering, especially from japan, make sure it's the right b20a! there was a b20a motor available for the 88-91 prelude that is also named simply "b20a."
