Cruise Control Problems

I can't seem to find any Crusie Control trouble shooting articles on this board. What am i doing wrong.

My cruse light on the button in the lower dash will not turn on, but when i push the button on the steering wheel, the dash light comes on for a split second then shuts off???


This is my third 3geez and i thought i was kinda sorta knowledgable about these cars, guess not???

mine broke after the 3rd use.... its only good for long trips....

I know its good for commuters, which i am.

Does anyone have any help or USEFUL advise??

dodgy clutch switch or dodgy brake switch or actually your cruise control box may be unplugged in the engine bay. i have never had a problem with the cruise control in any of my accords. check the wires bro

well, you have a few things to check, but i would start with the brain box for the cruise control. The reason i am saying this because this what happened to my wifes civic abotu 6 month ago.
replace the brain if it doesn't fix. download shop manual and start trouble shooting.
