Man that is a PIMP ride! Super clean! Mine is an 84 as well.

I've seen your car on CarDomain or something like that.

I think that after you find out all the cool shit you can do to your car (thanks to this site), you'll get even more into your car. 2nd gen and 3rd gen (carb'd) engines are VERY similarly set up too.

Oh damn, you're only in Salem. That's not that far. Maybe we could have a 2geez mini-meet in Portland some time... I guess we could invite the rest of the 3geez guys in the area too... :)

:welcome:

Nice car, almost looks lifted though!

I'd be down for a 2gzz meet as soon as the car's together.

Yeah, I'd like to do it after I get all the parts on my 2gee that I've got sitting around for it actually installed. The suspension, brakes, engine, exhaust, etc... the list goes on. I'm working hard on the 1g right now though. Should have it done just in time for winter, so that I can park the 2g inside all winter long and tear it apart. :)

Man I gotta say, it's really wierd to see another clean 84 Sedan like that. I feel like I'm looking at my car in someone else's driveway!

Good job getting rid of that bra btw. That thing was kinda nasty... They're really only useful for going on a road trip, but good to see that your dad really cared for the car. Glad he also passed it on to you! Good work!

Man, that does look sweet. I personally am not feeling the bling, but I like the whip overall. There are some cats on here doing big things with these cars. And what's even better is the owners aren't trying to be ricey or kill Mustang guy or paint the vents yellow and crap. It's like the fellas respect these cars for what they are/were-- ahead of their time, reliable, tough to reverse engineer, little four bangers. Seems like the modders around here are keeping it clean and classy, not doing some poser pimp mods. Yours look freaking new. Pops rims and bra had to go, but he kept it nice.

So, is that white parts car an LX or a base model? I'm trying to hook me up a power antenna in my 84 hatch and I need the parts to do it to it. Welcome and read some of our posts where we disect these old ass cars!

whitey WAS an LX, but he died with my old engine... we were just gonna swap motors, but it had like a giant chunk off the block falling off, so it just got thrown away, coincidentally, my friend ripped off the antenna for his car lol
