If anyone has ever put a new hood on or a hood from a junkyard car i need some help! the problem is that it's sitting a little too far back or too low. we have it straightened out as far as left or right goes but for some reason we pulled it all the way out and it sits too low but if i push it back it sits in too far... i just want to know really if anyone has ever shimmed it and what technique they used as well as parts... that would be really helpful!

theres a pic on here from my other thread when my original hood got hit with a tire... just search like wow i love it when tires fly at you or some shit like that lol.

Adjusting body panels is an art. You just have to spend some time doing it. Adjusting the hinges, the bumpstops on the front of the hood, like Messy explained. Just trial and error. It can take some time to get it looking just right.
